Bio
Before Garreg Mach
Amanda was born in a group of itinerant artists from the Alliance. While their caravan travelled throughout all Fòdlan, they developed a preference for the Leicester Alliance due to its warm climate and of courses, its warmer audience.
Amanda grew up surrounded by a lot of different performers with diverse backgrounds and she soon developed a passion for the arts herself. She became an apprentice of the acrobats in her group and when she was old enough she started performing, receiving her first tattoos. They symbolize how she’s officially a member of the group and bear great meaning for the girl
One day, while they were buying some younger studs for the caravan , Amanda saw a pegasus remained unsold at an incredibly low price.Apparently, due to an injury, he was not a palatable choice for knights anymore.
The girl bought it impulsively and named him Rastus. Faced with the criticism of her people, she decided to train her new mount to perform with her. Soon the numbers she choreographed grew more and more popular and Amanda found herself managing a whole team of Pegasi, receiving invitations to the most extravagant parties of eccentric nobles from all Fòdlan.
Unfortunately, exactly when business was booming, Amanda’s caravan got caught up in the uproars that sprout in Faerghus after the Tragedy of Duscur and while defending her winged friends the acrobat was wounded in her leg.
Forced to take a break from performing, she stubbornly keept up her work as a choreographer anyways.
Two years later (1178) her injury was more or less completely healed, however she was aware she wouldn't be able to perform like she once did just yet. The same year she received the suggestion of going to Garreg Mach by one of her sponsors, both to learn how to defend herself and her people and to work as a Pegasi Trainer (in exchange for not having to pay for her education). Frustrated with herself and in need of some time to decide what to do, she decides to accept the offer for the time being, becoming an eccentric and unlikely member of the Monastery.
Academy Phase
Amanda is as peppy as usual, even surrounded by nobles. She sometimes works at the Pegasi Stables, while studying just as much as she needs to get by, except for the subjects she truly cares for. She is an expert in dealing with pegasi and in flying and often helps other students approach this unusual kind of mount. Thanks to her communication skills, she is usually well liked, except by the most zealous students who find her noisy and by snotty nobles. Rather than hate on them, she finds it’s incredibly fun teasing and pranking them. She’s quite a pro at that too.
Verdant Wind
During the five years of war Amanda went back to her travelling Caravan which had settled in a village of the Leicester Alliance, waiting for the conflict to come to an end.
Amanda kept doing her best to gather information about the students’ wellbeing, travelling alone and taking occasional jobs.
The constant tension made her sass worse, even if she remained positive and careless on the surface she worried for her family and friends, trying to help financially when she could.
While she had considered fleeing the country, she remembered Claude's ideals and the promise with the Professor. She thus headed for the Monastery, just in time for the Millennium Festival, maybe… in search of a change for the better and finding the ideals of the Tactician worth fighting for.
Other Routes
In other routes, Amanda leaves Fòdlan altogether, disinterested in the political discours and finding the conflict morbid and uncalled for. During her travels, she will pick up other refugees and eccentric individuals along the road and found her own Vagant Circus, soon growing popular enough that words of her shows reach her former land and companions.

Personality
Amanda is a chappy, upbeat girl. She’s a bit of a show-off and loves attention. She is very straightforward and can easily come off as inconsiderate. That is all because of the environment she grew up in, without clear hierarchies and flexible rules. You might say she’s a little brat at heart.
She is far from religious and finds pretty heavy and boring people who are too focused on the Church.
Despite her cheerful side she has her worries too but a performer shows nothing short of their best smile. With that attitude she often dismisses serious talks, avoiding contrasts and political matters.
